The Project Space - an alternative exhibiting space within the International Art fair for Contemporary Objects is open for individual artists and collaborations to apply to have their work displayed.
The Project Space is a great opportunity for artists to showcase their work within a well established fair that presents a selection of international galleries and attracts around 10,000 visitors.
The fair is celebrating its tenth anniversary at the Saatchi gallery in May 2013, with last year's event featuring 10 exhibitors, two of whom - Lucy Brown and Anna Ray - received public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England to assist with their work. This year Project 10 will be the new iteration of this alternative space and applicants are encouraged to develop thought provoking proposals which challenge their usual working practice and consider methods to actively engage with audiences, such as through social media.
The Crafts Council is keen for artists to apply for participation in COLLECT to support ambitious and creative proposals, but you haven't got long left as applications must be submitted by 26 October.
