No Boundaries is an open symposium on the role of culture in 21st century society accessible for established cultural leaders and for those who are discovering their leadership role.

The debate will build over the coming months culminating in a two-day event held simultaneously in Bristol and York on 25 and 26 February 2014.

Delegates can choose to attend No Boundaries at either of two locations, Bristol or York, with each venue providing unique experiences and a live-link to seamlessly broadcast talks between both spaces. The aim is that working over two locations will help reduce travel times and cost which, combined with a tiered ticket pricing structure, will enable a wide range of Arts and culture professionals to attend.

No Boundaries will explore the role of arts and culture in contemporary society. It will be a conference about doing not funding. Our aim is stimulate the imagination and look to the future.

The event takes place over two days to create time for informal discussion around the formal speaker sessions. This will be an opportunity for the delegates to hear from brilliant speakers but also to join in with a range of playful interventions, to self organise discussions in whatever format works best, and to feed ideas back into the conference.

No Boundaries is a State of the Arts 2014 event supported by Arts Council England and British Council.
