We have commissioned a research project to investigate the traditional, existing and emerging support models for writers of literary fiction in England.
Research and anecdotal evidence have suggested that the traditional publishing model is not able to support writers of literary fiction as it used to. This timely piece of research will investigate:
- assumptions about the traditional publishing model
- existing support models for writers such as prizes and grants
- emerging support models for writers such as crowd-funding and self-publishing
- innovation in the literary fiction market
When can I find out more?
The report will be published in March 2016 and will be available to download from our website.
