Flick Rea
Cllr Flick Rea is currently Executive Member for Culture for the London Borough of Camden and has been a Liberal Democrat Councillor in Camden since 1986. She was Leader of Camden's Liberal Democrat Group until May 2005. Since May 2006, she has been the Executive member for Culture and Sport with responsibility in Camden for the Olympics. Her biggest project at present is to oversee the refurbishment of a complex of Victorian swimming baths in Camden with a budget of £22.7 million.
Flick is Vice Chair of London Councils Arts, Tourism and 2012 Forum and a member of the Board of MLA London.
Trained originally in the theatre, Flick is delighted to be one of Camden Council's observers to the Board of Hampstead Theatre and she is also a Trustee of the Camden Arts Centre and The Charles Dickens Museum. These activities harmonise well with her special interests in drama, literature and history.
