If you received regular funding from the Arts Council in 2007/08, you should complete an annual submission as a condition of that funding. The annual submission is an electronic document that consists of the following sections:
Section 1A – E of the submission are completed in an Excel file, while Section 2 is completed in a Word document. Details of how to download and submit these can be found below.
Changes
As a result of our annual submission consultation review, we have made a number of changes to the annual submission. Please see the related document, 'Annual submission current and future changes' for an explanation of these changes and also some planned for future years.
Downloading and completing
Please ensure that you read the following instructions carefully before opening the document.
If you have problems downloading the file or would prefer to complete a paper version of the annual submission, please contact the Corporate Evaluation team on 0845 300 6200. The paper version is also available in large print.
Returning
Please complete both the Excel file and Word document and return them to the appropriate email address below. PLEASE NOTE, you should not return your submission to your lead officer directly, but to the appropriate regional email address.

Further data checking on the annual submission
In some cases it will be necessary for lead officers and the corporate evaluation team to clarify data on your returned submission. Your cooperation in answering questions as swiftly as possible will speed the process of payment and reporting.
In your annual review, lead officers will be clarifying information on the annual submission and feeding this back to the corporate evaluation team to accelerate the checking process so that we can report back information to you as soon as possible.
Reporting on the annual submission
Reports have been added to the website on key data from the 2006/07 annual submission. We aim to produce data from the 2007/08 annual submission within an appropriate period. Please contact the corporate evaluation team if you would like any further information from the annual submission that is not available in the key data report or top line tables. Reports on the 2005/06 are also available for your information.
