The Renaissance data collection is a quarterly return of data from each site participating in the Renaissance in the Regions programme. The data returns contain information on numbers of: visits; priority group visits; child visits; website visits; school visits; higher education visits; adult and child on-site participation; and outreach activity.
The data returns support programme management and monitoring and form the basis of the Renaissance museums performance indicator statistical series. The data collection manual contains definitions of all the variables collected.
From 1 October 2011 we will publish annual and quarterly reports on the Arts Council website. You can find previous reports here.

Renaissance Exit Survey 2010-11
The Renaissance Exit Survey is a museum visitor exit survey commissioned to measure the impact of Renaissance funding.
The survey questionnaire is designed to measure visitor profile, museum visiting patterns and frequency, rating of the visit, and influences on the decision to visit.
A narrative report exploring the 2010-11 survey results and trends at national level was commissioned by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council and is now available to download.
We will publish the narrative report for the 2011-12 survey in September 2012.
