What do you mean by ‘scale of impact’ and how are you defining ‘significant geographical spread across England’?

We want the outcomes of this fund to create partnerships across and impact on as wider geographical area as possible. With that in mind, we will prioritise proposals that have a significant geographical spread across England.

Would our application be eligible if it was working in one region (for example the East Midlands)?

This would be eligible, however it is possible that we will receive proposals that cover a wider geographical area and so these applications may have an advantage during the assessment process.

Could an adult care department of a local authority that runs residential care homes be the lead applicant?

We encourage the inclusion of local authorities as partners where appropriate, but we would not support applications where local authorities are the lead applicant.

A local authority managed care provider may consider brokering partnerships with arts organisations and applying in partnership with an independent arts organisation as the lead.

Will you fund proposals that take place in sheltered accommodation settings?

The focus of the fund is residential care, but activity in other care settings such as sheltered housing can be included within an application where appropriate.
