Renowned for delivering a world-class festival every June, Aldeburgh Music is leading the way in supporting the best emerging and most talented musicians. In May 2009 it opened its new creative campus to enable talented artists from around the world to realise their full potential and connect to a wider audience.

The Hoffmann Building houses two flexible spaces for rehearsal and performance – the 340-seat Britten Studio and the 75-seat Jerwood Kiln Studio – and was launched with a public housewarming weekend on 9–10 May. Over 8,000 visitors enjoyed rehearsals and performances from world-class artists, local food and drink, and an on-site Ferris wheel at the Snape Maltings site in Suffolk.

In the last year, Aldeburgh Music has reached an audience of over 91,000. Visit for details of its year-round arts programme, training opportunities for emerging professional musicians, and information about artistic residencies.
