Yaram is a social enterprise concerned with widening the appeal of Black and Minority Ethnic artforms. The organisation first took shape in the late 90s, when it began organising sporting and artistic events for the African Diaspora in London and other UK cities.
It aims to develop a high quality of performance and content from its artists, expose newer audiences to BME music and foster cultural awareness and social cohesion through music. Yaram has toured extensively in the UK and Europe, building partnerships with venues, festivals, promoters, producers and communities in major UK cities and regionally.
