Wildworks

WildWorks is an artist-led theatre company in Cornwall renowned for its ambitious public projects and for its uncompromising approach to participative and professional theatre. Wildworks performances occur in found landscapes rather than formal theatre spaces, encapsulating elements of the communities in which they are performed.

Wildworks takes inspiration from its Cornish roots, building on a burgeoning tradition of extra-mural theatre in the south west in the last 30 years. Volunteer participants combine with professional artists to change the lives positively of communities with powerful performances.

The list of organisations and communities with which WildWorks has collaborated is diverse and adds to the rich fabric of experience on which the company draws in its performances, from the Royal Navy to young hip hop artists, and surfers to a chapter of the Hell’s Angels.
