University Of The Arts London

University of the Arts London receives funding for two core strands of work:

Afterall
Since 1999, Afterall has been undertaking contemporary art research in partnership with international educational and cultural institutions. This research is made available online and as well as through an events programme and Master's course. Afterall is committed to the idea that art, and writing on art, should be independent of the commercial art market and should engage with broad educational, cultural, social and political ideas. It is hosted by Central Saint Martins School of Arts and Design, University of the Arts London.

Artquest
Artquest launched in 2001 and provides practical information, advice and feedback for visual artists at any stage in their career, through a comprehensive, free-to-access website and through social media. It also runs a seminar and networking event programme, delivered in partnership with both national and artist-led organisations. Run by artists, for artists, Artquest builds a bridge from student experience to sustainable working life, supporting artists throughout their professional careers.
