Theatre in the Mill, at the University of Bradford, programmes professional theatre and through the new initiative Development Lab supports new work and local emerging companies and artists. Activity reaches well beyond student provision and there is an increasing focus on site specific and cross-disciplinary work.
A witty new musical play of Comedy of Errors set in 1920's Northern Ireland (Norn Iron as the cast my say) by Michael Poynor and Mark Dougherty.
A real scream of a production with period 1920's Fashion and laughs-a-plenty- not least because of the Norn Iron Spake!
Anthony and his servant Drew set off from 1920's Dublin, in search of their long lost twin brothers. Eventually they land in Belfast, unaware that their twins, also named Anthony and Drew, live in the city. When strangers hail them as friends, husbands, and lovers, there are multiple misunderstandings and mounting confusion, creating farcical chaos and comic delight.
Commissioned and presented by Theatre at The Mill.
