Samson and Delilah Preview

Samson and Delilah (Theatre Royal) Tid, Emily Thompson Wednesday 28th - Saturday 31st Jan: 7:30pm Saturday 31st Jan: 2:30pm Tickets: £10/£5 Concs The ancient story of Samson and Delilah crackles through an old wartime wireless. Two worlds collide as a biblical struggle meets a mythical world at war. Prime Minister Adam and Lady Eve declare war on an enemy nation, whilst Moses runs from enemy fire. Letters of loss are written by so many but received by so few and planes hum over head recalling the moans of lost lives. Lucifer struggles to gain information from a desperate Delilah whilst Goliath meets Samson in an Epic battle for peace. Whos fighting? Love and War. Who wins? Who cares? With a war time spirit, the Young Company bring to life this biblical tale, mixing seductive song, vibrant visuals and music to make your hair stand on end. Take Formation! Bombs away chaps... and prepare for a frantically physical theatrical explosion!
