    Studio Voltaire

    Studio Voltaire is a contemporary arts organisation founded in 1994. Based in Clapham, the company creates a hospitable atmosphere for emerging and avant-garde artists to flourish. Originally based in Clapham, SV’s current premises house the work of over 45 London-based artists of differing reputation, including artists with learning difficulties, but prizes risk-taking and originality in all its associates.

    In addition, SV looks to widen access to contemporary practice through educational programmes across the local community. The studio hosts independent residencies as well as exhibitions in association with prominent UK galleries and arts organisations.
