    Spike Island

    Spike Island, Bristol is one of Europe's largest artist studio complexes. Its unique building is devoted to the production and exhibition of contemporary visual arts, supporting the practice of artists through a range of projects, residencies and seminars. It successfully completed a major refurbishment in 2007 and now includes a business incubation unit housing Spike Design as well as space for  other arts organisations such as Picture This, Spike Print, Art and Power and the University of the West of England's fine art course.
