Salisbury Playhouse’s work attracts an annual audience of over 100,000 from across Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset and beyond. Recent productions have included the premiere stage adaptation of William Golding’s novel The Spire and the UK premiere of Nordost (co-produced with Company of Angels).
In addition, Salisbury Playhouse’s extensive participation programme engages with more than 14,000 people of all ages each year. Current activities include Stage ’65 Youth Theatre (with over 250 members aged between 5 and 25), Beginners, Please! (introducing more than 600 local primary school children to theatre), and work with Open Storytellers (a multi-sensory book club for adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities).
