Sadler’s Wells

Sadler’s Wells aims to provide transformative experiences through dance, to engage the widest possible audience and to expand the public’s enjoyment, appreciation and understanding of dance. As one of the world’s premiere dance houses, they produce, commission and present dance in all its forms, from ballet to hip hop. Sadler’s Wells present existing work by leading companies and artists from all over the world and commission and produce original new work from their associate artists and other artists. Their productions tour the UK and abroad, crossing cultural boundaries and attracting diverse audiences of more than 600,000 each year.

National Youth Dance Company / Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui - Frame[d]

Having completed two sold out UK tours, National Youth Dance Company returns to Sadler's Wells to premiere a new work created by the 2014-15 Guest Artistic Director Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. Cherkaoui is one of the most prolific choreographers working today; a Sadler's Wells Associate Artist, he has created more than 20 works. François Chaignaud and Cecilia Bengolea have been provoking audiences from Paris to Tokyo with their fresh perspective on dance. Their sexually-charged work springs from a wide outlook on what constitutes dance, and a desire to challenge how dance history is written. Eva Yerbabuena - ¡Ay!

A theatrical performer, Eva Yerbabuena is a Flamenco Festival favourite.
