Airport 2000

This huge sell out success and hit comedy about British Asian's and travel was Rifco Arts first production. A comedy show based in and around Heathrow Airport. Park the car illegally, check-in late, demand a first class seat, plead poverty for excess baggage, haggle in the duty free shop, talk throughout the in-flight movie, snore in stereo, smuggle pickles and fight with the customs. Airport 2000 is filled with a whole host of hilarious characters who live, work and travel through the airport.

Bollywood - Yet another Love story

A larger than life Bollywood style love story is brought to life on stage. Full of glitz, glamour, drama, romance and comedy. A sideways and firmly tongue in cheek look at the gaudy, glitzy and glamorous world of Bollywood. The Bollywood film experience, live on stage with all its glories and clichés!

Meri Christmas

Meri Christmas offers an entertaining and thought provoking exploration of shifting trends which have led to more and more Asian elders being removed from their families to live in homes for the elderly. The show was developed through conversations with elder members of the community. A risky subject dealing with two Asian elderly patients living in a care home; but an entertaining and thought provoking script proved to be a crowd pleaser.

It ain't all Bollywood

To hide from the harshness of her surroundings and her neurotic overbearing mother, Kiran escapes into the colourful world of Bollywood. Drifting off into a dream world filled with the glamour and romance of Bollywood songs and theatrics - a world far from the real dramas at home. The ringing of the doorbell and rekindling of an old friendship starts to bring Kiran back to reality- where she is forced to deal with the truth. First opened at Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008, and toured the UK and the World Performing Arts Festival in Pakistan.

Where's my Desi Soulmate?

The show followed Rishi and Sona through their will-they-won't-they whirlwind wedding circus. They've just met and now they're getting married. Although this was their decision, the wedding procession is moving faster. While their frenzied families go into overdrive to ensure this is the most elaborate wedding Slough has ever seen, the young couple's cold feet threaten to enter the wedding mandap; and while the missing ladoos continue to cause mayhem, years of family conflict bubbling under the surface looks likely to spill over.

There's something about Simmy

Simmy is an "imported" Indian bride whose marriage isn't off to a good start. Her husband Raj runs away on their wedding night, leaving Simmy alone with her crazy new family. A community conscious mother-in-law, a diabetic granddad obsessed with biscuits and Mindy, her neurotic sister in law. Not allowed to leave the house in case the Aunties become suspicious, she regrets ever setting foot in the UK. When her brother-in-law arrives back at home, an unexpected love story starts to unfold, hidden from the prying community. Will Harry and Simmy confront the community living in a time warp?
