The Nuffield collaborates with a range of distinctive artists to create inspirational performances for Southampton and further afield. It also presents visiting artists from the UK and abroad; works outdoors producing large and small scale work; commissions plays and devised productions; hosts resident companies; tours nationally and sometimes internationally; operates schemes to support the development of theatre makers; offers educational and participatory activities for local people and works closely with a number of partnerships and networks.
The Nuffield's productions reflect the company's commitment to theatre that is light on its feet, contemporary in style, enriching, engaging and enlivening.
