November Club is an award winning performing arts company based in Northumberland. The company produces innovative theatre in unusual mural or extra-mural settings and collaborate with local communities, professional artists and performers as diverse as the Northumbria Cadets, local historians, National Trust volunteers and cartoon animators. Resultant work is always inextricably connected to the places and communities that stage it; the themes of performances taking cues from the historical and contemporary context of the site.
NC creates site-responsive and theatre-based performances in partnership with artists from various organisations and disciplines, underpinned by the principle of producing challenging, yet accessible, theatre for audiences from across society.
Northumbria Cadets, local historians, village halls, drama groups, architects, National Trust volunteers, local artists, cake-makers, food historians, folk musicians, archivists, librarians, cartoon artists, dancers, youth groups and primary school children.
