National Skills Academy

The National Skills Academy Creative and Cultural is a membership network of over 230 theatre and live music employers and 20 colleges throughout England. It aims to develop and improve skills opportunities for those entering the creative and cultural sector and those already employed within it.

With expected growth of 40 per cent in the performing arts and music sector in the next eight years, the Academy will be crucial in equipping a skilled performing arts workforce and ensure high collective industry standards.

NSACC’s activities centre on providing industry-endorsed careers advice and guidance delivered through yearly careers events and online resources and improving access to arts careers through its Apprenticeship Training Service. The national programme of events comprises an annual industry conference, projects for Skills Academy colleges, production day visits and masterclasses in partnership with industry figures.
