A music education charity based in York, working regionally, nationally and internationally to foster, promote and increase public engagement with music, in particular medieval, renaissance, baroque and classical music. The Centre also organises a complementary programme of jazz, folk and world music concerts and events. In addition the organisation focuses on work with disabled people. Our investment supports the organisation's core activities including the annual York Early Music Festival. The festival has a national and international reputation and focuses on innovative programming and developing artistic practice. It also works with partners to provide training for young people to work in the arts.
