Kinetika

Kinetika is an internationally renowned company with over 15 years’ experience in designing and producing extraordinary outdoor events which invoke the spirit of carnival and celebrate cultural diversity.

Founded by its artistic director, Ali Pretty, in 1997, Kinetika’s work is prolific and far-reaching, ranging from school workshops, artist training programmes, community engagement and participatory projects in the UK, to large-scale, international event and ceremony design, and comprehensive, national touring productions.

Examples of past projects include the FIFA World Cup opening and closing ceremonies (Abu Dhabi, 2009), the Athlete’s Parade and Paralympic Closing Ceremony (London, 2012), WEYA (Nottingham, 2012), Beijing Olympic Cultural Festival (2008) and Din Shuru (2003).
