an interval

An interval is a short piece of contemporary theatre/live-art, created by amateur performers from Junction Adult Theatre Group after just 10 hours of rehearsals. Presented at Junction, a brand new Arts Council funded venue in Yorkshire, the show explores the notion of the interval as a performative act, as an event in itself and, most importantly, as an opportunity for comedy, carnage and mayhem. For almost all of the performers involved, this was the first time they had ever stepped foot on stage! Produced by Junction (www.junctiongoole.co.uk) Directed by Chris Williams, Drunken Chorus (www.drunkenchorus.co.uk) Devised and performed by Junction Adult Theatre Group
