Design Event was established in 2005 to support designers across the North of England, particularly graduates and emerging designers; to provide regional and national platforms to showcase high quality design and to engage public.
DE are committed to raising standards and providing regional and national platforms to showcase the high quality design being produced, alongside national and international work and positioning the North of England as a hot bed of design talent. DE organises the annual Design Event Festival, currently in its seventh year, and in 2012 will showcase the work of northern English designers at the London Design Festival.
