Digital Shakespeare Workshop - Group 1

Students in the School of English at the University of Derby worked with 1623 theatre company and QUAD to video part of a scene from Shakespeare's Troilus and Cressida. After having read the play in preparation for the workshop, the students looked at 1623's adapted script before exploring the digital production at http://www.unclepandarus.com. They then transformed short extracts from Shakespeare's text into storyboards, which they turned into short videos by setting up shots and directing actors. Facilitated by Ben Spiller from 1623 and Darius Powell from QUAD, the workshop featured 1623 associate artists Jamie Brown and Kat Glenn as Troilus and Cressida.
