It offers a broad programme of popular and progressive theatre, opera, ballet, dance, pantomime and music for Blackpool and the North West.
The managing board of the Grand Theatre continue to operate the theatre according to manageable long-term aims: identifying new partnerships with professional theatre-makers, producers and promoters who share the Grand’s theatrical vision; hosting amateur and community theatre productions; finding and developing theatregoers for different art forms from all sectors of the population; and to involve members of our communities of all ages as audiences and participants across the Fylde coast.

From the producers of such massive touring hits as South Pacific, 42nd Street, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and many more comes a brand new revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic musical Oklahoma!
Set on America's Western Frontier, against a background of conflict between farmers and cattlemen, Oklahoma! perfectly integrates song, dance and story to tell the tale of farm girl Laurey and the two rivals for her affections, happy-golucky cowboy Curly and the sinister farm hand Jud.
Famously, the show opens with Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin' and contains a wonderful score of songs such as The Surrey with The Fringe on Top, People Will Say We're in Love, Many a New Day, I Cain't Say No, and the final rousing chorus of Oklahoma!
The show stars one of Britain's leading ladies Marti Webb (Blood Brothers, Tell Me On A Sunday, Evita, Cats, Thoroughly Modern Millie), and Mark Evans, (Spamalot, Wicked, High School Musical, Rocky Horror Show, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers) and Gemma Sutton.
See this if you enjoyed... Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, Carousel, South Pacific.
Just some of the amazing reviews for the tour:
"West End star Marti Webb heads an all-round spectacular cast and her star quality seems to have rubbed off on the bright young talent around her. Mark Evans ticked all the right boxes as happy go-lucky-cowboy Curley. Vocally he was an absolute delight from the moment he opened the show with Oh What a Beautiful Mornin'. His love interest Laurey -- played by Gemma Sutton -- had an exquisite voice too. The sets, the costumes, and the fabulously choreographed dance routines -- especially Laurey's breathtaking ensemble dream scene, rival any West End show. Be sure not to miss it!" Daily Echo -- Bournemouth
"For my money, this new production is up there with the best of them. It is both traditional and totally fresh, and despite having a largely unknown cast could take its place in the West End with pride. Marti Webb is absolutely delightful...commanding the stage whenever she is on it. The choreography was just brilliant with some fantastic routines, especially in the act 1 finale dream ballet, and the athleticism of the performers left me breathless. A great set and superb lighting effects added the finishing touches to a truly wonderful evening." Scene One
"The show's singing and dancing are intoxicating, the live orchestra superb." Southern Daily Echo
"Oh what a beautiful show! This show will have your eyes glued to the stage from start to finish" Southport Champion
