Attik Dance

Attik uses dance as a tool to inspire people, bring topics to life, increase community engagement, and improve health and wellbeing. It has three main strands of work; education, professional development and community.

Activities include Attik 360, a programme of dance sessions for adults with and without disabilities, community dance classes, two youth dance companies and educational projects working with schools, colleges and universities.

Attik Dance's aim is to nurture every individual it engages, at any level, so he or she has the tools and resources to develop their ideas and get what they want.

'Stretched' By Attik 360

Attik 360 provides opportunities for disabled and non disabled dancers in Plymouth including weekly classes, workshops and performance.

This film was created by Clair Beckett and film maker Jude Butcher. The film was made for a 360 degree screen at ICCI 360 film festival in Plymouth, Saturday 18th September 2010.

Stretched was filmed in a days workshop at the University of Plymouth. The dancers created the movement based on the themes of connection, support and trust.
