Association of Dance of the African Diaspora

ADAD plays an indispensible role in developing dance talent among the African Diaspora and raising the profile of dancers’ work, acting as an information hub for devotees of the art. ADAD strives ultimately to widen appreciation of the African dance art form and cement it as a cherished part of the British cultural experience.

More a network than a membership organisation, ADAD is supported by a number of associates and partner organisations, through which it holds forums and events, administers Trailblazers Fellowship bursaries for professional training and provides online and print resources for students and others interested in African dance.
