We have a budget of £219.6 million of National Lottery funds to invest in large capital grants above £500,000 between 2011/12 and 2013/14.
Our large capital grants will support organisations to develop resilience by giving them the right buildings and equipment to deliver their work. This programme is one of a number of measures we are putting in place to help make the arts more sustainable, resilient and innovative.
We have already allocated £164.6 million in the first two funding rounds. A further £55 million will now be available in 2013/14, and applications to the fund are now open until 10am on 12 December 2013.
Who can apply
We anticipate that the programme will be oversubscribed and will therefore prioritise investing in National portfolio organisations who can demonstrate that Capital investment will increase their resilience in the long-term.
Visit our eligibility page for further information on who is eligible to apply for funding.
How to apply
There is a two-stage application process:
- Stage one: You must apply via the online application portal, outlining your vision for the project, the amount of funding required and how your project will contribute to our goals. We'll assess applications against published criteria and let you know if you've been invited to complete a stage two application.
- Stage two: If invited to apply to stage two, you must submit a second application showing plans at a detailed stage of design and development to secure a grant for the sum that we have set aside on a conditional basis.
Visit the two-stage application process page for further information on how to apply.
