You will receive an offer pack explaining any special conditions and how we will pay the grant. We will normally pay the money in stages.
Our standard conditions for grants will be included – please read these carefully and keep them in a safe place. We will also explain how you should acknowledge funding from us and from the National Lottery. You can download the standard conditions or request a copy from our enquiries team.
If you receive a grant offer but no longer want to accept it, please let us know in writing. You must accept the offer within one month. This means signing the offer letter and returning it to us. We also need you to send us your bank details. We will make all payments straight into your bank account when you have met any conditions associated with payment. You must also continue to meet our standard conditions for grants. It may take up to 15 working days to process payments.
If you have been given a grant, you must acknowledge our funding and the National Lottery, including using our funding mark appropriately. We want the public to know that your work has been supported by the National Lottery. If you don’t acknowledge our funding it may affect any future applications you make.
You may want to find out about Getting your Grants for the arts award in the news, including guidance on creating publicity for your funded project and suggestions on who to target and how to write a press release.
