Arts & Culture Parliamentary Fellowship

Arts and culture inspire and educate us, enrich our lives, benefit society and contribute to the economy.

What is it?

The Arts and Culture Parliamentary Fellowship gives parliamentarians a unique, behind-the-scenes insight into how the industry works and the opportunity to explore the issues that matter to them.

How does it work?

The fellowship is delivered by Arts Council England in partnership with the Industry and Parliament Trust.

Fellows spend 7 days over two years with arts organisations, museums, libraries and creative businesses, looking at the aspects of the sector that most interest them.

The fellowship can be done on its own or as part of the 18-day Industry and Parliament Trust Fellowship which provides parliamentarians with opportunities to learn about a wide range of industries, tailored to their interests.
