Radiator Symposium – Exploits in the Wireless City - 14-16 January
As part of the 4th Radiator festival, the Radiator Symposium, “Exploits in the Wireless City”, aims to instigate discussion, debate and new interdisciplinary research networks based on the understanding that the development of digital networks are transforming our notion of (public and private) space.

On The Waterfront nominated for audience award
Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company is celebrating yet another major award nomination for On The Waterfront. Premiered at Nottingham Playhouse in April before transferring to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the production has now been nominated as Best Regional Production in the Theatregoers’ Choice Awards hosted by leading website whatsonstage.com . This follows award nominations earlier this year for the director Steven Berkoff, lead actor Simon Merrells and the Ensemble.
Boulevard of Broken Dreams comes to the East Midlands
Spring 2009 sees the World Premiere of Boulevard of Broken Dreams - a unique collaboration between live music and dance. Featuring a specially-written musical score by composer Charlie Barber, and with choreography by Jean Abreu, Boulevard of Broken Dreams brings four stunning young dancers and four brilliant young musicians – The Mavron String Quartet - on stage together.
