2022-25 Creative People and Places National Portfolio extended until 2026

Due to the current challenges facing organisations following the Covid-19 pandemic and the rising cost of living, we’re extending the 2022-25 Creative People and Places National Portfolio for one year, to 31 March 2026. This means the planned 2025-28 Creative People and Places National Portfolio process will also be postponed for one year.

We hope that this extension will provide security and stability to existing CPPs, and more time to develop plans for those interested in applying to the next portfolio.

All current CPPs are eligible for the extension year and will need to complete a simple application process. We will confirm these details soon.

Quotes

“I found a voice, and new confidence, and I realised that staff in arts spaces won’t escort me to the door when they hear my accent or laugh when I expressed an opinion.”

- Tess, participant at Stoke-On-Trent’s project Appetite

“Being an ex-soldier, and an ex-policeman, I could never have imagined that I would become immersed in the arts in the way that I have.”

- Iain, participant and South Holland’s project Transported

“It’s nice to see something so contemporary in a rural town like this…. and look at the diversity of people that are here so it’s nice to see that people are engaging in art.”

- Participant at the Luminarium, a project set up by OUTSIDE in Staffordshire
