Digital R&D Forum: introductionsHide description
The Digital R&D Forum, held in Manchester Town Hall, sought to explore the nature of collaborative technology relationships, risk taking and knowledge sharing in the arts informed by the experience of various initiatives including, but not restricted to, the Digital R&D fund for the Arts.
Dr Paul Gerhardt, Managing Director, Archives for Creativity, opens the Digital R&D Forum as the event chair. Further introductions come from Geoff Mulgan, Chief Executive, Nesta, Alan Davey, Chief Executive, Arts Council England, Rick Rylance, Chief Executive, Arts and Humanities Research Council and Sir Richard Leese, Leader, Manchester City Council.
The £7 million Digital R&D Fund for the Arts is a partnership between Arts Council England, the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and Nesta.
