Digital R&D fund case study: Scratchr - experiments in digital feedback loops for artistsHide description
Digital R&D fund for arts pilot project
Scratchr: Battersea Arts Centre, with NativeHQ and The Arts Collective
Battersea Arts Centre is creating 'Scratchr' a digital version of its acclaimed 'Scratch' programme inviting artists via an online forum to present their ideas at an early stage of development to an audience who then engage creatively with their work and feedback to influence its ongoing development.
David Jubb, Artistic Director, Battersea Arts Centre says: "It's about sharing the creative process, looking at different people's creative processes online and how they work together, and interestingly how collaborators find each other."
Visit the forum at http://scratchr.net/ or get involved on Twitter @battersea_arts and @scratchr
The £7 million Digital R&D Fund for the Arts is a partnership between the Arts Council England, the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and Nesta.
