This discussion took place at the Digital R&D in the Arts Forum in Manchester Town Hall in February 2013. In this podcast, the panel looks at distribution of artistic content and how organisations are utilising digital technologies to engage new audiences outside of traditional venue spaces. Panellists share their experiences of what has worked and what hasn’t. The Digital R&D Fund for the Arts is a £7 million fund for organisations with arts projects based in England working in collaboration with technology providers and researchers. The fund supports new digital research and development projects that aim to expand audience research and/or develop new business models.
