Hello just thought i'd leave a possibly quite odd view. I study at Edinburgh University and i am currently doing a ecology and have always been interested in science. I've never been very great on the arts front but i have always admired people that can. People who make music, paint amazing pictures or do wonderful acting are great people and inspire me in so many ways. By me not being any good in those areas, it really makes me appreciate what they do and do effectively change you views opinions on life like ana is trying to say. x
And I can't count the times when a piece of art has literally made me want to kill myself.
Are you seriously suggesting that this is an useful contribution to your mass debate?
In response to Lewis Cash's comment: I agree, as a contribution this has no value at all in my humble opinion. I suspect the reason this band have decided to join the debate is that their career may be faltering and so they are desperately associating themselves with anything of any perceived cultural value like so many befor ethem, not thinking for one minute about the fact that doing so devalues the debate proportionally. I personally think the Arts Council should be a little more discerning!
I hardly think their career is faltering, get your facts straight before you start talking! However I do agree it devalues the debate.
Are you kidding Sheryl? This band isn't even powering a flatline signal any more ; )
Please. Ana can barely sing, let alone create art.
