Story.txt
Story.txt is a competition to write a 100-word story, running in conjunction with thelondonpaper and online fiction magazine Pulp.net.
The judges are: author of
Londonstani Gautam Malkani, short story writer and editor of Pulp Net Lane Ashfeldt, and literary editor of The London Paper Lottie Moggach. And, as judges of the Readers Prize, London Paper readers are also judges.
There are prizes worth up to £800, including a year's worth of Orange Broadband plus a mobile phone for the top 2 stories as picked by the judges and readers, as well as 5 sets of runner up prizes of the six books from the Orange Broadband Prize for Fiction shortlist and tickets for a night out at the South Bank Centre.
If you'd like to give it a go, then please get texting. Stories should be about relationships, whether at home, work or play.
Entries may be made by mobile phone text only and abbreviated spellings are permitted. The closing date is May 21st but stories will be accepted throughout May, and some of the entries will appear on Pulp Net and on the London Paper website.
